Mango Green Tea

I previously reviewed this Mango Green Tea from Yesterday's
Cafe and Tea Room brewed as an iced tea.
This tea is described as "sweet, smooth, and summery."
According to the instructions on the package, it is delicious hot or cold.
For this review, I brewed it as a hot tea with the water temperature around 195 degrees F.
(Caution: Always use a lower than boiling water temperature to brew green tea.)

This Mango Green has a delightful aroma and taste.
It was a very smooth afternoon cup of tea.
My very health conscious Ph.D nursing instructor friend Cora encouraged
all the ladies in our Sunday School Class to drink two cups
of  green tea daily for healthy aging.

From my internet research;
The antioxidants in green tea are thought to erase some of the negative effects
of aging on the the body. The high levels of antioxidants help the body
 to remove damaging free radicals.
To learn more, you might wish to do a little research on
the benefits of Green Tea for women.

Hi Linda. I am a firm believer in the beneficial effects of green tea. My grandmother drank several cups of Lipton's green tea every day, and she lived to be 100. I personally don't care much for the taste of green tea but the flavored ones I can drink and enjoy.

You know I had to look twice to be sure I was on the right blog! ;) But this sounds like a tea I would enjoy, and I know Cora is right and that we would all do well to drink more green tea!

Chuckling at Angela's comment... as I thought the same thing! Our black-tea drinking friend is coming to the green side?

Not a huge fan of green teas, but with mango it would be yummmm! The full leaf looks so pretty.
