Teatime Quilt Wall Hanging

This pretty teatime quilt wall hanging was a surprise Christmas gift from Glenn
with the help of our 90 year old neighbor, Mrs. H.
The Friends of the Madison County (KY) Public Library held the 2nd annual
Little Quilt Show and (silent) auction as a fundraiser.
Participants made and donated 58 little quilts inspired by a favorite book.
The silent auction ended at 4:00 p.m. on December 4.
Each quilt came with a copy of the book that inspired it.
To make a long story short, Mrs. H. called Glenn when she saw this tea themed quilt,
and together they schemed, bid and were determined to win it for me.

The quilt is 23 1/2 X 12 1/2 inches, was made by Mary Beth Dunn of Lexington
and was inspired by the book One of Each.

Below, the book is open to the page which inspired this quilt.
It's a cute story, written in rhyme, about Oliver Tolliver
who learns the lesson of the importance of sharing.

Oh, Linda! What SPECIAL and unique gifts you received for Christmas this year. Love both the Teatime Quilt Wall Hanging, and hand crafted pottery teapot from Austin. Your guys are looking out for the woman they love.

Linda tht was so thoughtful - what a perfect quilt for such a fine tea lady!

I cannot even believe how muchlike the original artwork from the book it is, too.

How sweet of those two sneaky petes!

by the way something went wrong with your Berea teapot posts - not showing it at all?
