Cherry Tea Cart

Most folks reading this blog know I live in a small Kentucky town.
A longtime family friend passed away in the fall. Her house sold, and
the family held an online auction of her household items last week.
As soon as I saw this cherry tea cart, I knew it needed to come home with me.
The bidding began. At one time, 14 different people were bidding,
I researched the going prices are for similar vintage cherry tea carts,
and I was surprised at how high the prices were.
My house is full of furniture, dishes and more of my mother and aunts.
I'm pleased this tea cart of Geneva's is now mine, and for a very bargain price.
I collected the Crown Staffordshire "Springtime" china in memory of
my mother because she had one "treasured" teacup and saucer in this pattern
which sat on her dining room hutch as long as I can remember.
Now, it sits on Geneva's tea cart.
This makes me happy, happy, happy!

I'm so glad you were able to buy this lovely tea cart. And having china that your mother treasured displayed on it makes it even more special. Happy memories surround it.

I thought the idea of having a tea cart, but looking at this beautiful cart gives me a birthday gift idea for my mom. Thanks for sharing!
