Happy 90th Birthday Queen Elizabeth

This is my "Queen's Golden Jubilee" theme tea table from a fund raiser event in 2008
She celebrated the Golden Jubilee of her reign in 2002..
We were fortunate to be in England during that special occasion.
~
Thousands of Beacons of Light were lighted to for that event as
will be for the Queens 90th birthday celebration.
Beacons are similar to bonfires in the USA,
except they are usually at higher elevations so they can be seen for miles.
In olden days it was a way of communication across the country.
The first Beacon for this celebration will be lit at Windsor Castle by the Queen
and family members at 8:00 p.m.April 21st.
This is my favorite decorated table of all my years of themed tea tables.
I used several decorative items purchased during travels
in England in 1998, 2002, 2004 2007 and 2008,
including the Royal Worcester china and the Queen's Golden Jubilee James Sadler teapot.
Oh how I would love to be in England today!

Happy 90th Elizabeth II

Beautiful tablescape in honor of the Queen. May she live many more years as healthy as she is today! She's an amazing lady.
