Peyton's Spring Break

This week was Peyton's spring break.
Most all my blog readers know one of Peyton's favorite things ever
is going fishing with Grandpa at the farm
Peyton is 11 and has nearly completed 5th grade.
He had soccer practice several nights this week, so he and Melissa
were only able to stay Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Grandpa came home early from work both days to "play."
Peyton played basketball at the farm while Grandpa
spread mulch around the rose bushes surrounding the front porch of the house.
(He forgot to take photos of the finished project.)
Wednesday afternoon, we visited my nephew Charlie and
our newest member of the family, my great niece.
Melissa and baby Kennedy seem to be enjoying each other, below.
A visit to Berea is not complete without dinner
and yummy spoonbread at Boone Tavern Hotel.
The time passed too quickly, but we enjoyed our visit.

How nice that Peyton could come for a visit and fish. I would be right there along with him.

Constantly amazed at how quickly these "little ones" are growing up. You have a beautiful family, and I'm glad you give us updates once in a while! :)

That looks like such fun! Peyton is growing for sure, it's great that can visit the farm to have fun on his school breaks.
