Tea in Lucerne

Tea Time Magazine arrived in my mailbox on Friday, and
there is an article about Taking Tea in Switzerland by Jane Pettigrew.
Neither of the Lucerne tea rooms mentioned in the article
were open when we were there last spring, At the time, I loved the name
of The Queen Camilla Tea House and took a few photos of the exterior.
I was glad to find the article describing this tea room in the center of beautiful Lucerne.
After reading the article and learning a little about the tea background of the owner.
I can understand why this "non-Swiss" named tearoom is called
The Queen Camilla Tea House.

We visited the tea room in Old Town Lucerne (below)
as it was open both days we were there.

This is probably my favorite issue of Tea Time Magazine. So many great recipes! How wonderful you were able to enjoy one of the tea rooms in Lucerne. I would love to visit all of the ones featured in the magazine.

Maybe on another trip, in the future, the Queen Camilla Tea House will be open!

Love tea rooms and that one looks amazing. Tea Time is my favorite magazine, the tea cups are always amazing. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha

How fun to have a personal insight into the new issue! I just got mine a few days ago (shockingly! everyone always seems to get theirs long before I do), and for some reason the food offerings appeal to me greatly in this one. Hoping to make some of those filled flower-shaped cookies very soon!

Now I must go back to my magazine and look at this article. Sad you couldn't have tea there, but maybe there will be a next time.
