Summer 2016 Destination

The view from our hotel balcony the next four days.
Photos were taken at various times of the day with high and low tides.
The lawn chairs in the photo below is your clue to where we are.
The daytime temperature were in the low 70's, the nights in the 50's.

From NYC, we flew to Portland, Maine and drove up the coast to Bar Harbor
where we stayed at the perfectly located
Bar Harbor Inn on Frenchman's Bay.
The mild temperatures and a break\from the Kentucky humidity was very nice.
The beautiful scenery and quiet laid-back lifestyle was a highlight.
Can you guess Austin's reason for visiting Maine?
To be revealed in the next post...

Those temperatures and that scenery! Pure heaven! Whatever Austin's reason was (a play? a girl? something else entirely?), it looks like a wonderful place to visit.

Beautiful scenery! I'm betting Austin wanted to check out that amazing college located there.
