Tuesday Afternoon Tea at The Plaza

Prior to the big renovation, we stayed at The Plaza numerous times during business trips.
Now a large portion of The Plaza is residential property,
at a prime location on Central Park South.
The lobby, Palm Court, and the Afternoon Tea service are very different
from the pre-renovation years.
We continue to return each time we are in NYC for the  quality service and
menu, especially the gluten free afternoon tea.
After shopping Tuesday morning, we changed into "business casual"
and took a taxi to our scheduled 2:00 p.m. afternoon tea.
I made advance reservations via Open Table, noting that two of us are gluten free.
The hostess was aware when we arrived, and provided us with gluten free menus.

My tea choice was a White Tea.

After tea we walked back to Times Square to the Marriott Marquis,
enjoying the NYC atmosphere along the 13+ block walk.
Austin's show choice for Tuesday night was
The School of Rock, the latest Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
He has watched the original Jack Black movie numerous times.
The children in the show who make up the rock band,
are amazingly talented musicians.
The "new" dress code for attending Broadway shows is very casual,
actually, as in most places these days, anything goes!
After the show, we ate a late dinner at the Blue Fin Restaurant.
The next morning we departed very early for our next destination.
