Dobrá Tea in Portland, Maine

Between the Scenic Lighthouse Cruise and the Historic Trolley Tour,
we had lunch and walked around historic Old Port.
I read about Dobrá Tea House prior to visiting Portland, and was pleased
we were able to work in a quick stop for tea.
Dobrá Tea is an International (franchised) chain of Bohemian style tea rooms
in Europe and the U.S.A.
There are several in the Asheville, North Carolina area, but the
Portland Dobrá Tea was our first experience.
The menu is 73 pages with descriptions of the teas
and fabulous photos of tea plantations, tea pickers, etc.
The bell in the top photo is to signal for service.

I wish I had a copy of the menu.  It was an amazing
educational experience to read and select a tea.
Austin absolutely fell in love with the Russian Caravan,
a blend of Chinese black tea and Lapsang Souchong.
Glenn chose the Sweet Smell of Jerusalem,
a black Indian Tea flavored with ground cinnamon.
My Yin Zehn (Silver Needles) was brought to me for Giawan brewing.
The server poured their first cups and demonstrated and explained
the Gaiwan brewing method,  and left a pot of hot water to re-infuse my tea leaves.

I am so proud of Austin and Glenn for their great tea attitudes
and willingness to try new places and methods of tea.
I love to travel with my guys!
