Iced Tea Month

June is Iced Tea Month
(Photo from Days of The Year dot com)
Iced tea is a refreshing beverage which can be enjoyed year-round.
Usually served in a glass with ice, it can be sweetened, flavored or plain.
Iced tea can be purchased ready-to-drink (RTD), or it can be made from loose leaf tea,
tea bags or a powdered mix.

The Basics of How To Make Iced Tea from Lipton Tea

Pour four cups of boiling water over two teabags into a heat-proof pitcher and leave for three to five minutes. Remove the teabags, and sweeten to taste by adding a little sugar. Stir in six cups of ice cubes until melted, or use four cups of cold water. Add in freshly cut lemon slices for some citrus zing, and keep refrigerated.

What month is it NOT?? We have those never-ending pitchers circulating all year.

Happy Birthday celebration to Austin, and HAPPY JUNE to you all!

I love iced tea, even more so than hot tea. I drink it all year long. It's so refreshing! Have a wonderful summer. I know it will probably go by too fast for you all, given that Austin will be heading off to college in the fall. Take care. God bless.

I had forgotten about Iced Tea Month ... although I sure haven't forgotten to drink iced tea. Been sipping a lot of it this week!
