Le Mont-Saint-Michel, France - Day 6

Located on and island on the north western coast of France in Normandy,
Mont-Saint Michel is a monastery and a community, population 44.
It is an island about .6 miles from the coast, made accessible by foot at low tide.
The narrow walkway toward the top and entrance of the monastery is
surrounded by shops, restaurants, and pubs.

I climbed the steps until I decided it would be in my best interest
to turn back and find a pleasant place to
have a cup of tea.  Jody(teacher/chaperone) joined me.
I asked for black tea, and it was very good.

 Jody asked for green tea.
She and I made our way by trolley to the little town
with more shops and restaurants
where I enjoyed the best meal on the entire trip, a delicious sea bass.
(forgot to take a photo until after I ate some of the ratatouille)
The app Gluten Free Restaurant Card is a must when traveling internationally.
I made copies for the tree of us in our group.
