Boone Tavern Afternoon Tea Gluten Free

My family and I are so very thankful for gluten free availability
at grand hotel afternoon tea service.  
Thank you Boone Tavern Executive Chef Jason!

We had doubles on the gluten free sweets.
The Butter Pecan Crumpets were amazing with 
Chef Jason's mock Devonshire cream and strawberry jam! 
Shhh... don't tell the guests, but their Macarons, 
Blackberry Jam Cake and Crumpets were gluten free, also! 
Chef Jason planned a Kentucky menu.  His specialty is using 
locally grown foods. 
 He is certainly in the right place at Historic Boone Tavern Hotel of Berea College
with the award winning Berea College farms.

How beautiful! So happy there were gluten free choices for you. I guess I thought macarons are normally gluten free with almond flour.

They say we eat with our eyes first, and these foods make me hungry. I bought a gluten-free cookie (by mistake!) at a coffee shop on my road trip over the weekend, and I must say it was absolutely delicious!
