My Belleek Order

This order was promised to arrive in 5 to 7 weeks and it came today,
4 1/2 weeks after our visit to the Belleek Potteries.
I already had the teapot, milk jug (creamer) and sugar bowl.
Happy March Birthday and Merry Christmas to me!
I am one very happy tea lady!

Belleek Pottery Visit

Beleek Pottery was not on our original itinerary, but due to extreme
windy weather on the coast where we were scheduled to visit,
we visited Belleek Pottery instead.  (YAY!)
The traditional Shamrock Tableware is my favorite.
I have a teapot, sugar and creamer in my collection of "shamrock" dishware.
Before our assigned time for our guided tour, we had time to browse and shop.
I developed even more admiration for Belleek during the tour.

Talented workers hand paint the pieces.

And, the "artists" make the intricate tiny flowers and shamrocks.

Commemorative pieces: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wedding basket
and the Prince Louis of Cambridge baby cup.
Notice the amazing handmade tiny flowers.
Order forms were located throughout the shop.
The products were displayed with prices in British Sterling,
because we were back in Northern Ireland.
(There are no borders to cross as your travel.)
We made a few purchased to be delivered in "5 to 7 weeks."
Austin found the tea room. LOL

Solis Lough Eske Hotel and Afternoon Tea

After three nights staying in a different hotel each night,
we were very happy to arrive at Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel and Spa
in Donegal for a two-night stay.  The rooms were so comfortable and spacious.

We were greeted by the staff with umbrellas as it was raining,
and glasses of iced tea.
 The service was exceptional!
On our second day at the hotel, Thursday, June 14, we enjoyed afternoon tea.

This is the gluten free server for two.
Austin and I loved the delicious gluten free food in Ireland.

Glenn's afternoon tea tray for one.

Glenveagh Castle and Glenveagh National Park

We toured the Glenveagh Castle and visited the beautiful gardens
This was also our lunch stop on Wednesday, June 13 in Donegal.

Glenveagh Castle is located in Glenveagh National Park,
the second largest national park in Ireland.
