Afternoon Tea at The Shelbourne, Dublin

The Shelbourne is a Renaissance Hotel in the Dublin City Centre
across from St Stephen's Green.
(internet image)
Afternoon Tea is served in the recently renovated Lord Mayor's Lounge
Note: the legal drinking age in Ireland is 18
Glenn had the Earl Grey Darjeeling Tea.
Austin and I enjoyed the Irish Afternoon Gold, a blend of Darjeeling and Assam
The china is Wedgwood (yes, I looked)

Afternoon Tea is served on the four tiered server.
Gluten free for Austin and me below

Our sandwiches were the same fillings as others, but on gluten free bread.,

The small glasses are panna cotta topped with elderflower and rhubarb mousse.
Glenn's beautiful afternoon tea below.

We thoroughly enjoyed Afternoon Tea in the Lord Mayor's Lounge
and the five-star Shelbourne Hotel.
I made reservations online in advance of our travel dates.

Oh my, that looks so wonderful! From the Wedgewood china on up to the top of the four-tiered server, it all looks elegant and delicious. More gluten-free treats for you and Austin, too. and how nice to be celebrating a birthday and be "legal" in that country!
