Ballygally Castle

Lunch stop at Ballygally Castle Hotel  on the Antrim Coastal Causeway.
Ballygally Castle Hotel was gifted with the Game of Thrones Door Nine.

Meals are very long affairs in Ireland.
There are no fast food restaurants.
While waiting for lunch, I took a few photos in the garden.

My lunch was a delicious gluten free fish and chips, but I forgot to take photos
when the food finally arrived.
Barbara celebrated her birthday and was treated by her friend
Nicki to an afternoon tea tray.  Look at that huge scone!
I took the photo below because the cups and saucers in the middle of this table
are stacked the way I learned to do in England,nd the way my cups and saucers
are stacked behind the doors of my china cabinets.
The view from the front of the Ballygally Castle Hotel
The castle has a haunted room up narrow winding steps.
Austin went up there, but if he took photos, I can't find them.
He quickly descended the steps after a very short visit. :-)

Beautiful scenery all around. I think I need to try stacking my cups and saucers that way! Thank you for sharing the picture.

Was the visit short because he saw a ghost? Ha! I love a good ghost story.
That is a huge scone for sure. How fun to have fish and chips at the castle.
