Cuppan Tae in Galway

We asked the taxi driver to take us to the city center in Galway.
The first thing I spied was the Cupan Tea .
I posted in a previous post about our visit to the Cupan Tea in Westport.
The sops are very similar.  The difference was this was lunch time on
a rainy day in busy Galway. We waited a bit for a table.
This Irish tea shop is quaint with tables set with vintage linens and
mis-matched English china.

The vintage linens are stacked ready to use as are the dishes on the shelves.
The baked goods are sitting out in the usual fashion.
Notice the tea infused (gluten free) polenta cake below?
Yum!
Tea and other products are for sale in this nook.
This is just one of many, many reasons I love travel in Ireland.

It's interesting how in Europe the sweets are often out in the open. I am not sure the health dept. would let tearooms get away with that so much here. Love seeing the linens stacked too.
