Seattle to Victoria and Afternoon Tea at The Empress

Bright and early on Tuesday, August 7, we boarded the Seattle Clipper
for a nearly three-hour cruise to Victoria, B.C.
(Perhaps a little too early for Austin)
We stayed for two nights at The Fairmont Empress

And, enjoyed the famous Empress Afternoon Tea
Below:  The teapots are ready!
The selection of loose leaf tea below.
The Empress signature china.

We had afternoon tea at The Empress when Austin was four years old, but
he doesen't remember that experience.  I'm sure he will remember this time.

You can't visit Victoria without having tea at the Empress, and to be an overnight guest is frosting on the cake!

How lovely! I have friends who have had tea at the Empress, and I hope to be able to do so myself sometime. Your gluten free treats look delicious.

Yes, Austin will remember having tea at the Empress and one day may remember and take a special someone with him. I always say once in a lifetime we must have tea at the Empress.
