Visiting Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery and Woodinville, WA

If you've been following my posts about this trip,
you know we were two nights in Seattle, two nights in Victoria, B.C.
and the last two nights were in Woodinville, WA at the Willows Lodge
for Glenn to attend a business meeting.
I didn't take photos the first afternoon and evening, but we walked
and explored this suburb of Seattle in the evenings.
There are several nice restaurants and according to the information,
over 100 wineries in the town with a population of approximately 11,000 in 2010.
At the end of Glenn's meeting we walked to Chateau Ste. Michele for a visit and tour.
Chateau Ste. Michelle is the "founding winery" in Washington state.
The chateau and grounds are lovely, and the place was very busy preparing
to host a rock concert on the grounds that night.
After our tour and tasting, these two guys did a little shopping,
claiming to be experts after a 30-minute tour. :-)
This is the last business trip Austin and I will accompany Glenn on,
as he will retire later in September.
It will be interesting to see where retirement takes us!

Your trip looks like great fun, and I expect you'll find lots more fun things to do after Glenn retires.

Congratulations on the retirement. I will be curious to see what adventures you take in the future retirement years too.
