Last Day In Ireland and Giveaway

After an overnight at Mt. Juliet, we visited the lovely village of
Thomastown and took photos in and around a small park at the bridge
used in the movie P.S. I Love You.

The community herb garden in raised beds, below.

We continued on to Kilkenny Castle.
The three of us chose to skip the castle tour and explore in Kilkenny.
We found the Fig Tree for our last tea room visit in Ireland.

On to our lunch stop and guided tour of the Irish National Stud
before going to the airport hotel.

Lunch at the Irish National Stud included this gluten free treat and a nice cup of tea.
And then an early flight home on Sunday morning, June 24.
Of course, I had many more photos than I could share on the blog.
Now, for the promised giveaway.
Leave your comment on this post and a way to contact you
by Sunday night, August 26 at 9:00 pm,
and your name will go into a drawing for an Irish souvenir.

Middleton and the Rock of Cashel

We departed Kinsale and traveled to Middleton for a guided tour and
whiskey tasting at Jameson Distillery.
I skipped the distillery tour and walked and explored in the town.
Jameson is made from rye and although they say the gluten is removed in the distilling process,
I chose to avoid the rye, one of the grains containing gluten.

After lunch we visited the Rock of Cashel with amazing views of the area.
