Historic Boone Tavern Hotel Christmas Afternoon Tea

The annual Boone Tavern Hotel Christmas tea was Saturday, December 8.
Austin had a fraternity event so our special friend Brittney joined us.
 Assistant dining room manager, Andrew decorated the tables
with red roses, evergreens and holly.
The event is held in the main dining room of the hotel.
The menu planned by Executive Chef Jason.

 Everyone was served a portion of the famous Boone Tavern Spoonbread,
followed by the first course of savories, served plated.

As the Boone Tavern tea consultant, I was very busy,
but I did take the time to enjoy tea with my family.
The gluten free desserts below were also served plated.
And the delicious scones and desserts on the three tiered server for everyone else.
 White chocolate dipped gingerbread cookies, Eggnog custard tarts,
Peppermint Fudge Squares, Dried Fruit Rugelach, Golden Rum Cake,
 and Scones on the bottom tier served with Devonshire Cream and strawberry jam.
Several tables of friends attended.
 

Enjoying Christmas Tea together is a long-time Jennings family tradition.
