February Teapot

I am late posting my February tea cart.
My friend Mary gave me the George Washington Dept.56 teapot.
I put him with my Royal Staffordshire set, hoping that spring will soon arrive.
We have daffodils peeking up and crocus in full bloom but much of Kentucky
is suffering from devastating floods including our area.
We will be glad to see sunshine soon.

This has been some winter for sure. We are much further behind you in the spring line up but also ahead of Colorado for sure! Love you George Washington teapot! Fun!

Such a cute teapot! Yes, we've had waaaaay too much rain around here, too. But the sun is shining today and we're enjoying it while it lasts. Spring is on the way!

Nice gift of a teapot.
I am ready for spring also; though I must say that up until about 2 or 3 weeks ago we had a very mild winter. Now we are having light snow and freezing nights. Lots of tea needed.

What a clever teapot! Since my dad was born on February 22, his middle name is "George," so all things George Washington catch my attention for that reason alone.
